healthcheck failing, port only on loopback only

hi folks,

I have a new install of xmatters 5.0.8 . so far 3 nodes, web, app and notidication. I am unable to get the healthcheck working. port 50000 is allowed over the network, but on the app server ( linux) and the node server ( windows) both report listening to port 50000 on their loop back interfaces 127.0.0.1 and not the "real" ip for the host. I can telnet to localhost on port 50000 and see the app listening.

anyone seen this or have suggestion on how to get xmatters to listen on the network port???
