Because of our mail environment, we are sending mail to local company users using MAPI, which is fine except randomly it will stop sending email out and we end up getting:
The AlarmPoint Health Monitor on node NODE1 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) has detected that notification to LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME (email@address.com) of company Company on Work Email has failed because all protocol providers have been attempted and failed for user service provider MAPI Email.
I have obscured the IP Address and user's name and email address above as well as the company.
The only "fix" we have found to get xMatters sending email again is to stop the Alarmpoint Node service and then restart it, (which takes a while to bring it back up because it dies right away if you try to restart it too soon)
Does anyone have any ideas as to why it would suddenly stop being able to send mail via MAPI?
