Hello all-
With out new 5.1 On Premise environment I would like to keep our QA and Dev environments "in sync" with Production. With "in sync" I mean people and group data. I need to have a disaster system ready is the end goal.
So this is what I had planned on doing....
Use data sync to export production data to the Production staging tables.
Have an SSIS job to copy to the QA and DEV staging tables. Likley some data manipulation will be included here (ie change the alarmpoint action field value)
Run the data sync import in QA and Dev
*I would have these all automated to run once a day
My question to the community was, am I on the right track? Is there anyone else that has this type of job continually running that has some things to watch out for? Any other thoughts?
