Hi,
I am setting up SIP devices with Cisco Call Manager. The xMatters Notification server is behind a firewall. I have been able to register a device with the Cisco Call Manager, however when I send a message - my phone rings but all I get is a silent notification and the phone call quits after a period of time.
In the xMatters logs I see
Bob Smith - Home Phone - Notification will be processed by SIP-Dublin-Callmanager. | 2011/04/08 09:33:03.500 |
Bob Smith - Home Phone - Calling... | 2011/04/08 09:33:07.657 |
Bob Smith - Home Phone - Message Delivered to Device. | 2011/04/08 09:33:36.517 |
In the logs, I can see the call scripts activating. I suspect that this is a firewall issue, however the network team has said that the firewall rule is ANY-ANY between xMatters and the SIP gateway.
I have raised this with support but wondering if anybody has any experience with xMatters and Cisco Call Manager and Firewall issues in the field.
And if so, how to go about working on resolution.
Regards,
Seamus
