Hello,
we have a failing requests since a few weeks now. We've been previously working with v4.0.0 Patch 010. Now updated to Patch 017 advised by xMatters. But we still have SMPP failures. I was wondering if anybody else experienced it in their environment and what actions they took to fix it.
We receive this error while trying to connect to SMPP:
2011-10-17 15:21:35,735 [smppEngineManager.2] WARN - Recoverable transport failed for device engine SMPP. Exception com.invoqsystems.apex.component.device.engine.exceptions.TransportRecoverableException: <message>com.logica.smpp.pdu.WrongLengthOfStringException: The string is shorter or longer than required: min=0 max=254 actual=339.</message>
This min, max and actual value can be different in each error.
Also we receive several FAILED alerts:

Please tell me what the STRING error means and how we can fix it and also how to fix this FAILED SMPP Provider errors which are also not very clear?
