For those who might be interested, the Virtual Phone device has been updated for the Virtual Device set with an updated xM logo over the previous AlarmPoint branding. This still has the same great functionality leveraging the actual device engines and processes defined on the server so that you can test and interact with voice calls and phone SMS capabilities. Just one of several xM created virtual devices in addition to various third party emulators that can be used. Instructions for use are below. Thanks. MC
Attached is a new Virtual Phone with the "X" logo on it instead of the old AlarmPoint logo. Shutdown your AlarmPoint service first, then just install the EXE in place of your current Virtual Phone in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\AlarmPointSystems\AlarmPoint\node\phone-engine
Then copy all of the other files to the Windows\System32 folder and you need to rename the EXE to APVirtualPhone.exe before you use it.
